Weird & wonderful cars for the future




งานโตเกียวมอร์เตอร์โชว์ทุกปี ไม่มีคำว่า "ผิดหวัง" สำหรับผู้ที่มาร่วมชมงาน ... ในปีนี้นอกจากจะมีทีเด็ดจากการนำรถยนต์ต้นแบบในอนาคตมาจัดแสดงให้ได้ฮือฮากันแล้ว สามคมผู้ผลิตยานยนต์แห่งประเทศญี่ปุ่น (JAMA) ซึ่งเป็นผู้จัดงาน ยังได้จัดนิทรรศการ "นครยานยนต์อัจฉริยะ ... Smart Mobility City 2011" โดยโตโยต้าจัดแสดงภายใต้แนวความคิด "ความเชื่อมโยงของสังคม และการเดินทางในอนาคตอันใกล้" โดยนำเสนอเทคโนโลยี่ในอนาคต 3 แนวความคิด ได้แก่

1. นวัตกรรมยานยนต์และเทคโนโลยี่การเติมพลังงานในอนาคต โดยจัดแสดงสถานีสำหรับเติมพลังงานที่พัฒนาขึ้นมาจากภาพของสังคมในอนาคตอันใกล้ ทั้งพลังงานไฟฟ้า แบตเตอรี่ พลังงานแสงอาทิตย์และลม ที่ใช้เป็นเชื้อเพลิงสำหรับยานยนต์ในอนาคตที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม เช่น รถยนต์ปลั๊กอินไฮบริด (PHV) และรถยนต์ไฟฟ้า (EV)

2. การบริหารพลังงานสำหรับยายพาหนะและที่พักอาศัย ทั้งนี้ได้ชูโรงระบบ H2V Manager (Home to Vechicle หรือที่พักอาศัยสู่ยานพาหนะ) ซึ่งเป็นเครื่องมือที่จะช่วยให้สามารถควบคุมการจ่ายกระแสไฟฟ้าจากบ้านเข้าสู่ PHV และ EVได้อย่สงมีประสิทธิภาพ ทั้งยังสามารถชาร์จพลังงานผ่านระบบ H2V ได้ทั้งแบบมีสายและไร้สาย โดยควบคุมผ่านคอมพิวเตอร์ โทรทัศน์ และสมาร์ทโฟน

3. ระบบการเดินทางขนส่งอัจฉริยะแห่งอนาคต โดยนำเสนอข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับโครงการริเริ่มด้านการผสานข้อมูลยานพาหนะและโครงสร้างพื้นฐานที่ช่วยในการขับขี่ที่ปลอดภัย และเป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม

Daihatsu D-X Concept



The D-X is a two-seater in the vein of the Copen, but has a party trick up its sleeve. Its resin-based body panels can be switched to transform the two-cylinder car's identity, with roadster, coupe and hatchback guises available.


Daihatsu FC ShoCase Concept




Ok so it's more of a spiritual successor to a Bedford Rascal than a car, but the ShoCase concept gains entry to our top 20 on quirkiness alone. The folding interior gives camper-van versatility, while the fuel cell that powers it does without precious metals to reduce cost


Daihatsu Pico Concept



Daihatsu claims the Pico is revolutionary in being 'positioned between light cars and motorised bicycles'. It obviously hasn't heard of the Renault Twizy then, with which it has a tandem two-seat layout and electric propulsion in common.


Honda AC-X Concept



Adopting an acronym for 'Advanced Cruiser Experience', this new plug-in hybrid saloon is specifically aimed at covering long journeys. Its joystick controls and auto-pilot mode won't make it to production for a good few years yet, though.


Honda EV-STER Concept



Light weight and low cost are the priorities of the EV-STER, but Europe's stringent crash regulations will prevent the roadster going on sale over here. However, this concept car is a clear signal that Honda is ready to produce new sports cars, and that can only be a good thing.


Honda Micro Commuter Concept



The Pico isn't the only potential Twizy rival: Honda's Micro Commuter concept comes up trumps by not only adding the potential for a third passenger, but in hiding an integrated foldaway scooter.


Mazda Takeri Concept



The Takeri previews the eventual Mazda 6 replacement, due on sale in mid-2013. It also exhibits the full extent of Mazda's 'SkyActiv' tech, which is said to be as economical as a hybrid without any electrification. Does this mean we get to keep combustion engines forever?


Mitsubishi PX-MiEV Concept



While billed as a concept, Mitsubishi's plug-in hybrid 4x4 is essentially the blueprint for the 2013 Outlander. The twin electric motor and 2.0-litre petrol engine combination will make it to production, but the claimed 141mpg sounds a little optimistic to us.


Nissan Nismo Juke Concept



This is a bit more like it. Although it's no Juke-R, Nissan's tuning arm Nismo has had its way with the 1.6-litre turbo engine from the production car, and also given the Juke's quirky styling a bit of added muscle. Grrr.


Nissan Nismo LEAF Concept



The LEAF's electric powertrain is untouched here, leaving Nismo's styling chops as the focus of this showcase. An aerodynamic bodykit toughens up the eco-car's tame looks, but it seems the sheep and the wolf may have swapped wardrobes again


Nissan Pivo 3 Concept



The third member of Nissan's Pivo concept series is less outlandish than its predecessors, and apparently could be built tomorrow. But it won't be - Nissan (annoyingly) feels the three-seater is too advanced for current tastes, so it could be another five years before we see it on the road


Subaru Advanced Tourer Concept



A precursor to the next generation Legacy, the Subaru Advanced Tourer spearheads the company's downsizing principles using a turbocharged 1.6-litre petrol engine - with boxer layout of course - supplemented by an electric motor.


Subaru BRZ Production Concept



After its long-winded development parallel with the Toyota GT86, Subaru's back-to-basics sports coupe combines a lightweight body with rear-wheel drive and a low-inertia Boxer engine to provide driving thrills accessible to all.


Subaru WRX STI S206



The good news: the latest in a long line of special edition Imprezas gets a power boost to 316bhp, as well as some body alterations making it even more aggressive. The bad news: it won't officially be coming to Europe.


Suzuki Q-Concept



The Twizy certainly has a job on its hands. Suzuki's take on the niche 'positioned between conventional motorcycles and cars' is this Q-concept, which is apparently ideal for short journeys within a 10-mile radius.


Suzuki Regina Concept



Odd name aside, the Regina is quite impressive. Weighing in at just 730kg and with aerodynamics 10% better than any existing Suzuki road car, its designers claim it is capable of around 90mpg with CO2 emissions as low as 70g/km.


Toyota Fun Vii Concept

Fun to drive again สนุกกับการขับขี่อีกครั้ง

จุดเด่นของรถยนต์รุ่น ฟัน-วี คือ การสามารถแสดงข้อความหรือรูปภาพผ่านตัวถังรถยนต์ด้านนอกได้ อันจะเป็นการแสดงอารมณ์ของผู้ขับขี่ในขณะนั้นได้ตามความพอใจ เนื่องจากการควบคุมต่างๆออกมาในระบบสัมผัส หรืออาจจะควบคุมโดยสมาร์ทโฟน หรืออุปกรณ์เชื่อมต่ออินเตอร์เน็ตอื่นๆ เช่น แทบเล็ต ทำให้การแสดงข้อความหรือรูปภาพผ่านตัวรถ สามารถทำได้อย่างง่ายดาย ด้วยการดาวน์โหลดแอพพลิเคชั่นจากสมาร์ทโฟนหรือแทบเฃ็ต หรือสามารถแสดงข้อความหรือรูปภาพผ่านเฟซบุ๊คก็ได้ *** โปรดดูภาพแรกประกอบค่ะ

รถยนต์รุ่นนี้ยังสามารถเชื่อมต่อกับพาหนะอื่นๆที่อยู่ในบริเวณเดียวกันได้ เช่นรถที่อยู่ในจุดบอดซึ่งอาจจะส่งผลกระทบต่อผู้ขับขี่ได้ นอกจากนี้ยังสามารถติดต่อกับเพื่อนที่กำลังขับขี่ในบริเวณเดียวกันได้อีกด้วย

ตัวรถยังมีอรรถประโยชน์เหนือรถยนต์ในปัจจุบัน ด้วยการสร้างโปรแกรมที่สามารถแสดงข้อมูลการเดินทางแบบโฮโลแกรม ซึ่งเป็นการสื่อสารทางไกลแบบ 3 มิติ ด้วยเทคโนโลยี่ชั้นสูงที่สามารถส่งภาพ ทำให้ดูเสมือนว่าบุคคลใดบุคคลหนึ่งปรากฏตัวในที่อีกแห่งหนึ่งได้ ทั้งๆที่บุคคลนั้นอยู่ที่อื่น ซึ่งโตโยต้าเรียกว่า Navigation Concierge โดยโปรแกรมได้เตรียมข้อมูลสำหรับการขับขี่ของผู้เดินทาง และบอกเส้นทางด้วยลักษณะ Vocal Interface หรือการพูดคุยต่อหน้า

จากฟังก์ชั่นการใช้งานข้างต้น โตโยต้าได้ให้นิยามรถยนต์รุ่นนี้ว่าเป็น "สมาร์ทโนสี่ล้อ" โปรแกรมและฟังชั่นการใช้งานต่างๆที่โตโยต้าพัฒนาขึ้นจะได้รับการอัพเกรดอย่างต่อเนื่อง

รถยนต์รุ่น  ฟัน-วี จะเป็นยรถยนต์แห่งอนาคต ซึ่งคาดว่าจะใช้ได้จริงในศตวรรษที่ 20 นี้


Toyota FCV-R Concept



เอฟซีวี-อาร์ ... วีดานแห่งอนาคต เป็นรถเชลล์เชื้อเพลิง ใช้พลังงานจากไฮโดรเจนแปรเป็นไฟฟ้า ซึ่งเป็นแหล่งพลังงานสะอาด ปราศจากการปล่อยก๊สซคาร์บอนไดอ๊อกไซด์ ทั้งยังง่ายต่อการจัดเก็บขนย้าย โดยรถต้นแบบเชลล์เชื้อเพลิง (FCV) นี้จะเปิดตัวประมาณปี 2558 โดยโตโยต้าเลือกวางชุดเชลล์เชื่อเพลิงไว้ใต้ตัวถังรถุยนต์ที่ได้รับการออกแบบมาเฉพาะ เพื่อไม่ให้รบกวนพื้นที่ใช้งานและความปลอดภัย


Toyota FT-EV III Concept



เอฟที-อีวี 3 รถยนต์พลังงานไฟฟ้า (EV) ซึ่งปราศจากการปล่อยก๊สซคาร์บอนไดอ๊อกไซด์คันนี้ จะเป็นรถอีโคคาร์คันสำคัญแห่งอนาคต ที่มีแนวโน้มทดแทนรถยนต์ที่ใช้พลังงานจากน้ำมันเชื้อเพลิง โดยมีขนาดกระทัดรัด และตัวถังที่มีน้ำหนักเบา เหมาะสำหรับการเดินทางระยะสั้น นอกจากนี้โตโยต้ากำลังพัฒนารถยนต์พลังงานไฟฟ้า และตั้งใจจะเปิดตัวยานยนต์ที่เหมาะสำหรับการเดินทางระยะสั้นภายในปี 2555 โดยเอฟที-อีวี 3 จะใช้แบตเติรี่ลิเทียมอิออน และมีระยะทางวิ่งปรัมาณ 105 กิโลเมตรเมื่อชาร์ตแบตเตอรี่เต็ม
